Early results of workshop on cultural probes for education

posted Jul 2, 2009, 5:27 AM by Konstantinos Chorianopoulos
We have recently (Monday 29th June 2009) organized a workshop to kick-off the analysis of the cultural probes that have been returned from the schools. Seconday education teachers from different schools and diverse disciplines (humanities, sciences) have participated in the initial analysis of the probes. Early results indicated that despite the high motivation of the participating schools there was a 30% drop-off rate (schools never returned the probes) and that the most popular activities have been the photos and the maps. More results will follow after thorough analysis using affinity diagramming.
